Rajasthan with over seven crore population, has given several industrialists and professionals to the country. To further boost the potential of its people the Government of Rajasthan clearly laid the vision to create 15 lacs jobs in the next 5 years, along with the vision to accelerate the growth rate in the state to 10% to 12%.

2) Education and Training
Rajasthan has created vast infrastructure under education sector for schools, colleges and technical institutions. The initiative is undertaken to enhance competiveness of manpower as per global standards. Government of Rajasthan is determined to bridge the gap between education and industry skill requirement. The State Government has also taken steps by making certain amendments in Rules/Acts that will allow for better job creation opportunities.
Rajasthan has also come up with initiatives for enhancing employability quotient. Rajasthan Skill & Livelihoods Development Corporation is the main agency for skill development across state. Similarly Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation has also been established to develop a new educational framework which can plan, implement, supervise and regulate the developing needs for IT skills.
